UPLOAD TROUBLESHOOTING

Why application photos get rejected.

The portal’s error may be vague. Check the technical file first, then the visible image and finally the recruitment-specific rules.

The file is too large or too small

Check the actual file size in Properties, not the number shown by a messaging app. If the notice gives a range, the file must fall between both values. Reduce quality gradually rather than crushing the image in one extreme step.

The pixel dimensions are wrong

A file can be under the KB limit and still have incorrect width or height. Use the exact pixels when stated. If only a physical size in centimetres is given, follow the portal’s resolution guidance instead of guessing.

The face is cropped, tiny or blurred

Start from a well-lit photograph with enough resolution. Do not stretch a thumbnail. Centre the head and shoulders, keep both eyes visible and avoid an aggressive crop. Compression cannot restore detail missing from the original.

The background or appearance breaks a rule

Some notices specify white or light backgrounds, no cap, no dark glasses, a visible name/date slate or a live photograph. These are content requirements, not file settings. A technically perfect JPG can still be rejected if it ignores them.

The format or filename is not accepted

Rename the file with simple English letters and numbers, for example photo.jpg. Avoid multiple dots, emojis and special symbols. Confirm the true format; changing .png to .jpg in the filename does not convert an image.

The browser upload still fails

  1. Sign out and reopen the official portal from its homepage.
  2. Try an updated Chrome, Edge or Firefox browser.
  3. Clear only the portal’s site data if a stale upload remains.
  4. Use a stable connection and avoid the deadline’s final hours.
  5. Take a screenshot of the exact error before contacting the official helpdesk.
